OUR APPROACH

In order to truly begin living your raddest life, I want to compare and contrast what I am aiming to do with other existing services to help you determine what's best for you in your current situation.

WHAT IS LIFE COACHING?

Life coaching is a forward-focused, action-oriented partnership designed to help you move from where you are to where you want to be.

It’s about clarity.

It’s about accountability.

It’s about building habits and strategies that support your growth.

As a coach, I don’t diagnose, treat, or analyze mental health conditions. I help you:

  • Navigate transition with intention

  • Identify patterns that may be holding you back

  • Build consistent habits

  • Strengthen confidence and decision-making

  • Create structure around your goals

  • Stay accountable to the change you say you want

Coaching is collaborative. You bring your goals, your willingness, and your honesty. I bring structure, perspective, challenge, and support.

It’s not about fixing you. It’s about helping you build.

LIFE COACHING VS. COUNSELLING

It’s important to understand the difference.

Counselling (or therapy) is led by licensed mental health professionals who are trained to diagnose and treat mental health conditions, process trauma, and provide clinical care. Therapy often focuses on healing the past and managing mental health disorders.

Life coaching is not therapy.

I am not a psychologist, therapist, or clinical counsellor.

Coaching focuses on the present and future — building momentum, creating goals, strengthening habits, and navigating change. While we may discuss emotions and mindset, coaching does not involve diagnosing or treating mental health conditions.

If a client requires clinical mental health support, I will always encourage working with a licensed professional.

Coaching and therapy can complement one another, but they are not the same.

WHAT this path looks like

Working together is structured and intentional.

We start with clarity:

  • What transition are you navigating?

  • What feels stuck?

  • What do you want to build?

From there, we create a plan rooted in:

  • Clear goals

  • Habit development

  • Accountability systems

  • Mindset strengthening

  • Regular check-ins and reflection

You’ll leave sessions with action steps — not just insight.

This work requires honesty and effort. It also creates momentum.

You don’t need to be in crisis to work with a coach.

You need to be ready to move forward.
